Novy Ranches- http://www.novyranches.com  Dr. Lowell Novy has his ranch up in Northern California.  They have a storefront location at 801 E. Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley CA 93065. Ph: 805-217-7152, You can order online, e-mail is grassfed@novyranches.com.  Novy's Ranches are at the Simi Valley Town Center Farmer’s Market on Tuesdays and the Regal Movie Center Farmer's Market on Fridays.


Produce:
Local Organic Produce:  Farm Fresh To You is delivered directly to your door. You can customize your delivery frequency, produce preferences, change the box type or size, and cancel anytime.  They also have a great referral system.   Delivery in Simi is on Fridays.  http://www.farmfreshtoyou.com

Nearly Local Organic Produce:  Abundant Harvest Organics- http://www.abundantharvestorganics.com
Weekly you pick up a box of freshly picked, seasonal, organic produce.  Automatic online payment deducted weekly. There is a pick up at 1pm on Sat. at the Simi Valley Library and a 11:30am pick up on Tuesdays in Thousand Oaks.

More local produce:
They are a much more local organic farm and have a CSA, though it isn't for the entire year.  

Though not organic, this farm uses sustainable practices and is also very local.  They have a CSA with a pick up in Simi Valley on Tuesdays.

They don't deliver to Simi yet (Thousand Oaks), Slightly more local than AHO, but also more expensive.

2 p.m. to 6 p.m., The Oaks shopping center, at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Wilbur Road, Thousand Oaks (529-6266).  3 p.m -7 p.m. Farmer's Market at Ventura Moose Lodge 10269 Telephone Rd (between Cachuma Ave. and Saticoy Ave.) Ventura.

Fridays:

Other Organic, WAP friendly Groceries in Bulk:  
One order per month.  Usually due by 4pm on the 1st or 2nd Wednesday.  Delivery is generally the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday.  Once you are signed up and on the e-mail list, you will receive an e-mail reminder before orders are due. Go online, set up your account, place your order, (if you do COD you get a 2% discount at pickup). Tracey Ellis-de Ruyter is the name on the drop as coordinator, phone # is (805) 506-4131.  You'll need to call first to get the code to enter online and further directions so you can proceed with your order. On the morning of the drop, she will email to let you know what time our driver, Ken, will be coming to town.  As long as you have more than $50 ordered, there is no charge for shipping. 
Fermented Cod Liver Oil, butter oil, coconut oil and ghee.  Ordering in bulk saves big.  For bulk ordering every 4-6 months in Simi Valley, contact Tami at organiccrumbs@hotmail.com.

Starter cultures for yogurt, kefir, sourdough, kombucha, cheese, cultured vegetables, etc...  They have how-to videos on their website as well.
