About Us

Interested in finding real food in our community?

Want to increase access to raw milk, grass-fed beef, pastured poultry and eggs?

Want to learn more about why real foods should be the foundation of your diet for optimal health?

The Simi Valley Chapter of Weston A. Price serves areas such as Simi Valley, Moorpark, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Westlake, Fillmore, Somis, Chatsworth, Northridge and Granada Hills.  We are part of the national non-profit Weston A. Price Foundation that supports the wise traditions of our ancestors in food, farming and healing.  We work to educate, research and activate our grass roots base:  nutrient dense foods, traditional fats, lacto-fermentation, the campaign for real milk, truth in labeling, life-giving water, soy alert, pasture-fed livestock, community supported agriculture, nurturing therapies, non-toxic farming, prepared parenting, and broth is beautiful.

Numerous articles on these subjects and many health topics are available to read for free on their website www.westonaprice.org.  Our local website is www.wapfsimi.blogspot.com

Some of the campaigns that we will be focusing on are highlighted on the national organization website's brochures section.  Here you will find many brief yet informative foundation brochures that include the many areas that the Foundation is currently involved in:
