 We had 3 of those speakers give talks in Santa Barbara - John De Bruin, Mark McAfee and Dave Wetzel (May 4, 2011). Questioning some of the most prevalent, and pernicious myths about food in our culture,  David will speak about the history and politics surrounding the fat & cholesterol controversy  in  his  presentation  of Food That Isnt & Other Alimentary Myths.

Rosann Volmert, D.O.,
Associate Clinical Professor at Western University of Health Sciences, Rosann has a wide range of experience both in family practice and osteopathic medicine. She will present information on the benefits of real fats and their impact on health from a doctors perspective.

Mark McAfee, Organic Pastures Raw Dairy
founder of Organic Pastures Dairy Co. is internationally recognized as an expert in raw milk production and regularly speaks throughout the U.S. and abroad.  Mark is an experienced medical educator and tirelessly works to Share the Secret of raw milk and its amazing health benefits.

David Wetzel, Green Pasture Products
developed high-vitamin butter oil, as manufactured and described by Dr. Weston A. Price, and resurrected the ancient art of traditionally fermented cod liver oil.  David will share his journey in returning these health-sustaining oils to their original form.

John de Bruin, Dey Deys Best Beef Ever
John has a small cattle ranch near Santa Barbara where he follows the brilliant sustainability protocols created by Joel Salatin. John is passionate about educating the public about the amazing benefits of eating natural, grass-fed beef and chicken.
